Relief, Rehabilitation & Welfare Works

The Ashrama conducted relief and rehabilitation work during floods and other disasters victims. Every year during the time of Durga Puja new clothes were given to local poor people. 

Before winter seasons new woolen Blankets were given to poor people also.
                              
Free Text Book Distribution: Every year Ashrama distributed Text Books free of cost among the poor and needy meritorious students from class V to Degree course level in an around of the Sagar Island.
                      
Mid-Day Meal Programme at our High School
Since 27th February 2015 we have been continuing the Mid-Day-Meal Programme for our High School students of class V to VIII. On that day Mid-Day Meal programme was started in presence of Block Development Officer, Shri Partha Mukherjee and other concerned officials along with Sabhapati of Sagar Panchayet Samiti. Total 540 students from class V to VIII to take Mid-Day Meal daily as per our High School Attendance Register. Now the programme is going on with the help of Govt. of West Bengal Mid-Day Meal Project, as usual.
